About - gregkeeling

For me, photographing weddings is about capturing the moments of the day in a photo journalistic style where guests are relaxed and unaware of the photographer. Most couples  request some formal shoots - that's fine and understandable - but  my style and preference is to capture people naturally when they're laughing, joking, shedding a tear or two during the service/speeches or simply catching up on times gone by.

Throughout my life I have always been described as a people person, and so coupled with my passion for photography,  a wedding photographer was the obvious choice!

Planning your wedding is a major undertaking  and I am always pleased to chat through on the phone about any photographic questions you may have,  or better still meet for a coffee.

When choosing a photographer it's essential that you feel relaxed and comfortable  with them as a person as well as  their photographic style of work.

I often second shoot for other wedding photographers, including my friend Andy Jones Photography, who has kindly allowed me to include some of those photographs in my portfolio.

The following questions may be helpful:

How long do you stay? I start from bridal prep and stay until after the first dance. Typically I do around twelve hours.  Yes its a very long day for me too!

Are you insured? Yes. I have public liability (£5million) and professional indemnity from a specialist photographic insurer.

What camera equipment do you use? I have professional Nikon camera's and lens. I always shoot with two cameras (each equipped with back up memory cards) and I also carry a third camera just in case.

Do you include an online gallery?  Yes. Each wedding is published to my website so you can view, download and share your photographs with your friends and family. Each gallery is password protected. You and your guests also have the opportunity to order prints and lots of other photographic services online via my website.

Do you work on the photographs after the wedding? Each photograph is professionally assessed, sometimes cropped and worked on before being published. I will spend around three days after a wedding on post processing. I also back up all my photos on several  drives  including  the cloud.

How many photographs do I get? I produce around 300   photographs - although it's often more - on a USB stick so you can view, print or share with your friends and family.

How much do you charge? If you contact me with your details including date, venue, etc. I will provide you with a price  (which start from £1250).
